L'Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria ospita il 10-11 Ottobre 2017 un evento scientifico internazionale di considerevole rilievo: l’11a edizione del Workshop Internazionale dal titolo “Applied Problems in Theory of Probabilities and Mathematical Statistics into Telecommunications (APTP+MS’2017) (Summer Session)”.

Tale evento è organizzato dal Dipartimento DIIES dell’Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria (Prof. Giuseppe Araniti), in collaborazione con la Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (Prof. Konstantin Samouylov), e con la Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Prof. Sergey Shorgin).

Il Workshop mira a presentare metodi innovativi nel campo della teoria della probabilità, dei processi stocastici e della teoria della code utilizzabili per la definizione di modelli matematici e metodi analitici in grado di stimare i parametri prestazionali delle future reti di comunicazione wireless di quinta generazione (Sistemi 5G).

L'evento si svolgerà presso l’Aula del Consiglio – Ingegneria – Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria.

The 11th International Workshop on Applied Problems in Theory of Probabilities and Mathematical Statistics into Telecommunications (APTP+MS’2017) (Summer Session) will be held at the University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria (Italy) on October 10-11, 2017.

The Workshop is jointly organized by the DIIES Dep. of University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria (Prof. Giuseppe Araniti), the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (Prof. Konstantin Samouylov), and the Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Prof. Sergey Shorgin).

The Workshop aims to discuss contemporary issues of applied probability theory, stochastic processes, mathematical statistics, stochastic analysis, queuing theory in their application to the performance analysis and quality of service in modern communication 5G networks.

Nowadays one can see the wireless solutions have moved beyond their traditional areas of application and today we can talk about a space where users can interact with various technologies services.

As a consequence, the methods of the applied probability theory and mathematical statistics for the effective estimation of the wireless networks performance parameters have received much attention in recent years and have become a key aspect of application development. Further research in this area can create opportunities for the development of theoretical foundations, new mathematical models and methods for the performance analysis of future wireless networks.

The event will take place at the “Aula del Consiglio” - Ingegneria - University Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria.
